Choose How to Celebrate
Your Wedding, Your Way
Your personalized, custom wedding ceremony planning process starts
with an introductory interview when we will get to know one another
and begin to explore ideas to make your wedding ceremony extraordinary.
Your Love Story
I will ask you to answer a questionnaire that tells me about yourselves,
how you met, your goals, family history and customs, and most importantly,
what kind of approach you want for your ceremony. I will use your
answers to tell your personal love story to family and friends
at your wedding ceremony. Your love is distinctly yours. Your wedding
will be unlike any other because your love story is yours alone.
Your Style, Your Choices
Next, I will ask you to make choices about your
wedding ceremony so that it perfectly suits your style. This
is relaxed and fun because it is done months in advance without
the pressure of wedding mania.
And very importantly, because this
is your wedding celebration, I will ask if there is anything you
do not want to include in your wedding ceremony.
You can choose
from hundreds of poems and special readings plus guidelines for
choosing and writing vows. You will have numerous rituals and ethnic
customs to select from--including ceremonies involving candles,
wine, flowers, food sharing, handfasting, and many more. The option
to have a partially bilingual ceremony is also available.
Your Wedding Is Unique
No two weddings that I design are the same.
I do not arrive at your wedding with a “script” that
is “customized” simply
by inserting your names and “marry you” in a few minutes.
I will present you with a draft of the wedding
ceremony well in advance of the wedding day. Together, we will
edit your wedding script so that the final version is exactly what
you want.
You have the option to choose a wedding rehearsal.
On Your Wedding Day
On your wedding day, I will arrive early to do any troubleshooting
and to confer with other wedding professionals such as your photographer
and musicians. I will conduct your ceremony, present you with an
archival copy of your ceremony and file all legal paperwork.
Your family and friends will not only be delighted but also be
touched emotionally. I want your wedding ceremony to be just what
you imagined and wanted in every way. |
